Purchased apps not showing up?
Anyone else having problems with purchased apps not showing up on your iPad in iTunes?
iTunes on my iPad will not display my purchased apps. It just says loading and nothing happens. Both my 2 & 3 are the same way. Is there a setting or something I might have toggled my accident? Been like this for about 2 months now. Help?

I have this problem on my iPhone. I figure it is some problem on Apple's side, and haven't really looked into fixing it.

I think that is one of those, I have to see it.
To answer your question, I have over 1000 iPads under my care and haven't had any problems for the last 2 months with downloading apps. Here's the first thing I noticed that is strange: Quote:
The App Store will have your purchased apps. Here's the next thing: Quote:
Really just trying to guess here and hope I get lucky.

Correct, I meant to say App Store, not iTunes. On my iPad if I open the App Store, everything works fine (updates, show top apps, download apps, etc...) except when I switch to purchased apps. Then it just sorta freezes and says loading. The purchased app "screen" is the only one that doesn't respond.

It is happening on both my iPhone and iPad right now, so it appears to be on Apple's side.

Just checked my iPad, my iPhone and 5 other iPads I have sitting in the office, they all can access purchased apps.

Hmm... interesting...
Seems like a hit and miss then. Just checked my phone as well and they are not showing up there either. With my iPads, this has been going on for at least 2 months now, if not more. Thought it was a glitch at first but it is still happening. Not the end of the world but annoying. I've done searches and it seems like others haven't found a solution on this. drat.

I've seen this on both my mini and iPhone 5 for the past couple weeks or so, must be a server issue at apple

Posted this to Apple support link above. Hope it helps someone.
I've been having this issue for a long time (On 2 iPads & 2 iPhones). I noticed last time i was in my iTunes account that my password didn't meet the criteria Apple now has for it's passwords (a cap letter + a number). Figured I'd give it a shot. Changed password to meet Apple's criteria, signed in on my iPad and (after a few seconds) all my purchased apps showed up. Not sure if it'll work for others but it worth a shot. Good Luck. |

I'm running iOS 6.1, and it takes a long time for purchased apps to show, even wen connected via WiFi at 15Mb/s download speed or more. My old iPad 1 with iOS 5.x doesn't have a problem showing my purchase apps, even when I have about 1500 apps.
