Planned computer upgrades for 2013 - What's on your shopping list?
So it's a new year which means a clean slate regarding upgrades, This year I intend to spend a few quid here and there.
My shopping list for my Mac Pro will help it last me at least another 2-3 years! 5770 to replace my aging 2600XT. 2x 64GB SSD's (one for OS and one as recording location for Logic/ Scratch disk for FCP) 1TB disc for time machine. Current set up is . bay 1 - 320 shipping drive running OS bay 2 & 3 500GB Seagate drive in Mirror raid for redundancy backing media files and recording/ scratch. Bay 4- 500GB drive for Bootcamp. Bonus drive! Got a 320GB IDE drive mounted in reducer adapter in optical drive bay. Plan is to get rid of my optical drive and that IDE drive and drop both SSD drives in adapters in there and hook them up to the On board SATA ports. and then stick the TB drive where the factory 320 was. What bits are you getting and what plans do you have for them?

My iMac is 5 years old this year. I'm planning to get a new machine towards the end of the year. I'm not sure whether it'll be another iMac, a Mac mini or a laptop.
