New MacLife Benchmarks of late 2012 27" iMac

It's good for what it is, but I wonder at what point in its life cycle it will begin to lose its ability to play cutting edge games? 1 year? 18 months? 2 years?

Maybe by then, something like this will be available to extend its useful life?
