(Disregard) Pioneer car audio problem

Update: I just had the problem without the iPod. So please disregard this post. The problem is not related to the iPod.

I recently had aPIONEER AVH-X3500BHS installed in my Camry. It works and sounds great but I've had an intermittent problem with loosing audio. It seems to happen when I have the iPod connected directly to the unit and start the car in iPod mode. The audio comes back after shutting the car off for a few minutes and restarting the car. It just seems to happen when the radio and the iPod are booting up together.

My question is, are there any known problems with pioneer units or any units cable connected to an iPod when they boot up together?
