iPad Internet Plan Options?
I currently have an iPhone 4S on AT&T which I am paying $20 for 2GB of internet. I also have an iPad Mini Wifi that I wish had an internet plan. Now I understand that my iPad doesn't have the option for a data plan cause it's the Wifi model but I am interested in selling this iPad and getting an iPad that is compatible with a data plan.
I was just wondering if anyone has any idea of what company offers the cheapest price for at least 1GB of data per month? I am really open to any company. Thank you |

Price shouldn't be the deciding factor, coverage should be. What good is a cheap data plan if you can't use it.

If you are looking for 1GB of data specifically, I think that Verizon is your only option. They offer it for $20/month. There are lower priced options through Sprint & AT&T for $15/month, but the data is more limited - 300MB & 250MB, respectively.

Another option would be to upgrade your iPhone to a hotspot-enabled plan and tether your iPad to your iPhone. It might be cheaper overall because you wouldn't have to trade up to a more expensive iPad.

You could also get the mifi device by TMobile and Walmart. $35 for 3.5gb for 60 days. Then all of your devices have coverage. The device itself is $80.
