Dead Pixel on T3i?? Help me identify.
I need help to identify what this is.
I noticed while passing some pictures I took at night that 1 star would not move lol...this one was static... I zoomed in and boom, a blank pixel.. then I went back to other sets of phtoos from previous days and there it was with different lens as well. Looks like this was not a problem in the first 30 days of use as those photos do not have this problem. Could this have happened after purchased? A blank pixel, dead or hot pixel.. what is this? It seems bigger than just 1 pixe though.. looks like a set of pixels.. If it is something bad with the sensor, should I send it to Canon? Thanks ![]() Here is another image at 1000% zoom

I saw that on a Canon camera over the summer in a night photography class. There were hundereds of the little checkerboards in that case. Nobody could explain it. It was like Ralston-Purina had setup shop on the sensor.
