Acces file via Excel link on Mac and PC

Dr. McKay macrumors 6502 Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: Belgium, Europe	Acces file via Excel link on Mac and PC Suppose I have jpg file on a server which I need to make visible in firefox via a link in Excel. The server in question is a Windows server which the Mac's access with the SMB protocol. The path to that file looks like smb://Servername/Volumename/Foldername/blabla.jpg On a PC, that path doesn't work, of course. Question is : how do I create a link in excel to that file that works on both pc and mac ? __________________ Mid 2011 21.5" iMac Quad Core i5 - iPad 2 Wifi - iPhone 4S - iPod 5.5G - Airport Express 2nd gen
