Does MacBook Air handle 2560 x 1080?

Does anybody know how well the Macbook Air (2012) handle a resolution of 2560 x 1080 ?

There are several 29 inch screen alternatives running this resolution.

I am considering buying the new LG's 29-inch EA93

You'd need to have a tabletop on a conveyer belt to make use of that monitor. What is the point?

Cool MacTracker Says Yes

If it can cover 2560 x 1600, then I would say yes for 2560 x 1080

Laters...
