Mac Pro fan speeds
I recently upgraded to dual 5355's and didn't take into account what my speed and temps were with the original dual cores. What are everyone's average temps that have upgraded.
I flashed to 2,1 firmware and smc reset. Currently under smcFanControl I'm getting readings CPU-617 IO-499 Exhaust-717 PS-599 With a Cpu temp of 33c. This is all under little to no load on the cpu's. (istatpro readings of load idle 99%) Are these readings normal for the machine? Sorry for the basic question but this was my first attempt and swapping processor's, thermal paste, ect. so am a little more keen to every single noise it makes now. Thanks in advance

Remember thermal paste takes a few heat/cool cycles to bake in. You may get a degree drop over the next week.
What temps do you see under a more reasonable load?

I haven't stressed the system yet because I was a bit concerned. On another note.....
I'm getting loud fan speeds upon boot but once I get into osx or windows they die down to a less audible level
