Why don't you post some facts as most people do when responding in prsi instead of assigning homework? Frankly, I don't care what a they do with their money in the name of charity when the end game is to just brain wash more people into their "church."

Keep in mind you are on a computer message board and not a "real" political board, so you will not get the same kind of responses here that you might elsewhere. I would suggest a different board if you are wanting a more open minded audience, or just enjoy the responses you get. Posts on this board can lead places you would never dream of.
Actually, people gave very good reasons why this donation was no big deal. But facts and republicans never seem to mix.

You might want to check how much LDS contributes to hatred and bigotry every single year.

Ted Bundy worked at a suicide hotline. Should we laud him for the lives he saved while ignoring all of the lives he took? Not everything is black and white.

I think it's looked down upon because of the tone of your original post.

Yes 90k on a 1 trillion $ campaign really shows this. The money was left over, not his , romney lost. No idea why you bring this up.

You're making assumptions and misrepresenting the donation. It's unlikely that he would have personally taken leftover campaign funds. From politico..

The two Romney committees finished the year with a little more than $4 million in the bank, though Romney for President also owes another $826,000 to FLS Connect. Any leftover cash can be used to continue paying late-arriving invoices and legal costs associated with closing a campaign, or it can be donated to charity or other campaigns. Theoretically, some of it could be transferred to a future Romney campaign, though his wife has signaled hes done with politics.

Compared to the nearly 1 billion dollars raised and spent during both campaigns, 90k is peanuts.

This was a campaign donation, campaign money if not used to pay back debate or given back to the donors is very limited in use. It can't be used personally by anyone, it can be donated to other political campaigns or it can be donated to charity, which is a write off after all. This really isn't anything out of the ordinary for campaigns to do after an election with their left over money.

Well it is too bad that you don't care. But here are some useful links.
