I am trying to help a friend (over Face Time) who has just bought a new late 2012 iMac and has attempted to transfer document folders from is PC to the iMac using Migration Assistant.
He tells me that everything seemed to go fine but none of the documents/folders appear under Documents on the Mac. He says they are on the Mac somewhere because they are listed individually under All my Files and he has been able to locate the folders using Spotlight and can drag a copy into the Documents folder. But where are the originals?
Any Mac super sleuths out there?
