Streaming media

Does anyone know of any apps which stream media between devices without downloading it? Like home sharing but when away from home network.

More an app where I can just store my media on one of my devices rather than all of them and the other devices can just stream it from the one with the media stored on it.

Thanks. Sort of but that only streams media from a mac/pc to idevices. Is there anything that can stream from iphone to ipad when you're out and about.
