Facebook app on iPhone 4 stopped making push notification sounds

I apologize as I'm sure there is a thread for this. Anyways, probably beginning in the late summer I noticed my Facebook app stopped making push notification sounds when someone either posted on my wall, commented on a status, accepted a friend request, add me, etc. When someone sends me a chat message I still receive a sound and when I receive a location notification I hear a sound and even sometimes if I'm tagged on a post or comment. I've gone through settings, restarted my phone multiple times but nothing. Any solutions for this? Maybe I should delete the app and reinstall?
