Hello,

I enabled file sharing on my iMac to share some folders with my macbook.

There always other macs in the same network and I don't want them to access my files. But for some reason they can.

I've set the user Permissions as follows:
*My Username* - read&write
Everyone - No Access

I tried to connect with another mac which isn't logged in with my Apple ID but it was possible to connect.

Is there a way to solve this?

Thanks!

And what was the other Mac able to do after a connection was established? And the Apple ID should have nothing to do with this, only the local account details (username and password).

They had full access to my files. (Read&Write)
