1TB 2.5 Touro Mobile Pro

Hey,

Was wondering if anybody knew much about this External hard drive : http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16822145873

specifically if I can take the drive out of the enclosure and put it in my laptop??

Thanks, Connor

I have the external 1TB Touro Mobile Pro (7200 RPM) and it doesn't look like it could be easily pried open to have the drive extracted.

BUT! They sell the standalone internal drive too: http://www.hgst.com/travelstar-7k1000

OWC sells it here: http://eshop.macsales.com/item/HGST/0J22423/

My Blackmagic Speed Tests show a consistent ~115 MB/s read and write with no data on the drive and ~100 MB/s read and write with ~500 GB worth of data. That's very good for a 2.5" mobile drive.

Location: That depends whether you ask for timezone, state of mind or GPS coordinates.
Actually, yes you can, because the Travelstar 7K1000 is 9.5mm high.

And that just makes me wonder what happened to Western Digitals Scorpio Black.
