Double sides tape?

I bought this moshi product for my iPhone 5 and having OCD, I took it off many times to get it perfect. The stickiness of the adhesive is not the same so I was wondering if I purchase some double side tape to fix this would the tape damage my iphone by leaving a unremovable residuel.

The Moshi screen protector is meant to be reusable...I've had no problems. But if it loses it stickiness...you just need to wash it per Moshi's instructions on the site, at the bottom of your link above.

Use the included microfiber cloth to wipe any fingerprint smears or smudges from iVisor's front surface. Apply some water to the cloth to remove any stubborn stains. In the rare occasion that iVisor has lost its grip due to dust or lint buildup, a complete wash is necessary.

For a complete wash, use a mild detergent (such as dish washing liquid) and water to hand wash both sides of iVisor. Use your thumbs to brush away any dust or lint attached to iVisor's adhesive border. Rinse and gently shake to dry. Use the included microfiber cloth to gently wipe away any remaining water droplets on the iVisor. Do not use the microfiber cloth on the adhesive border. Let iVisor dry naturally by placing it on a dry paper towel with the adhesive border facing upward. Make sure no dust or lint particles stick to iVisor's adhesive border during drying then reapply. After a successful wash, iVisor's adhesive border should restore to its original stickiness.

Oh nice, what happens if washing the product does not work, I would still like to know if the double sided tape I choose would be a problem.

Not sure why you would want to put cheap double faced tape on an iPhone that cost more that $600.00, if your screen protector is ruined, contact the company ask them about warranty and if it is not covered buy another.

why don't you wash it first, before trying something else.

In any case, I doubt you will be able to install the double tape nicely...it will probably look bad. And difficult to remove...it is too sticky...screen protectors are meant to be not that adhesive.

The tape, being so sticky, may remove the oleo coating on the iphone...the screen protector will not.
