[iPhone] Jailbreak Newbie

I'm a Jailbreak newbie but I thought I followed the instructions.

I installed the Theme Rainbow Black - and got some of the features- but at the top the signal bars are supposed to be rainbow, and some other changes to the unlock bar, etc are not coming through.

Any ideas? I tried -emailing the creator.

is this a winterboard theme? Did you go into winterboard and activate it and make sure it is at the top of the list, then respring...

*Edit- just heard from the author and he said he that theme doesn't work well with this version of iOS- problem solved!

All it says is to deselect everyhting but the theme in winterboard.

When I do that- I get the background- but normal icons. when I select Summerboard mode- then I get the icons that match the screenshot (as you can see in my photos).

I noticed some themes aren't playing nice and a quick google search shows that theme was made before the iPhone 4 came out so that could be an outdated 3gs theme. Lockscreen stuff seems to be the most buggy right now at least from my limited experience.

If you just want the status bar carrier logo Zeppelin works.
