Where is the 'Clock' button in iMovie?

I've got no sound in iMovie clips atm, and been told to check the timeline, and find the clock button, but I don't see it!

I'm not sure.

That's why I\m asking, perhaps it's for the old version of iMovie?

Which iMovie are you using? There is a clock button in iMovie6HD, but not in iMovie11. In iMovie6, all it does is change the view in the Timeline. It has no effect on audio.

no sound in iMovie clips
Check in the Clip menu and see if the clip is muted.
