They are not the only i5 tablet out. Have been devices out before and after the Surface Pro has been released. Perhaps not as well known as the Surface Pro.

Could you provide a few examples? All I had seen was Atom based running Windows 8, not an i5. Which ones have come out since the Surface Pro was released 11 days ago?

Also the Kupa Ultranote X15 ships in March. Removable battery, only 760g, dock with battery/ethernet/usb/VGA, i3/5/7, 64/128gb SSDs and 4/8gb RAM, 4g option but a non-wacom digitizer (so crappy drivers for the stylus til they get better ones sorted out.)
