Hey Guys,

I'm running a Macbook Pro 13". When I click get info on my home folder, it says the size of it is 294 gigs (see image.) I knew this couldn't be true so I went through every folder in the home folder and everything combined only adds up to about 70 gigs. I verified and repaired disk permissions and also restarted the computer just to see if that would do anything but it did not. Any ideas on whats going on? This is especially bad because now I only have just over a gig of free space and keep getting "your startup disk is almost full" warning messages.

Also some other issues that have been going on for a while:
-My computer randomly shuts off sometimes even when the battery has plenty of life and even when it's plugged in.
-Garageband has never worked, doesn't open at all

Thanks
