Hi everyone,

the additional layer of rubber underneath the metal bottom of my sister's Late '09 white MacBook starts to come off at the side, with about 2x3 inch already loose (see picture attached). As it's well out of warranty, what would you do?

1. Bring it in to a retail store. They would probably do it the Apple-way and replace the whole cover, I fear that might cost way more than 100€.

2. DIY glue attempt. In that case, any advice for special glue (supporting metal, that rubber-like material & heat)?

Thanks in advance!
