Has there ever been a shipping window this long on an Apple product?

Basically I'm just wondering if there has ever been a product release that wasn't available for the first month and then when it was the shipping time was 3-4 weeks?

I personally can't remember one but I could be wrong

in europe it's 4-6 weeks.
probably when you will receive it, it will be already outdated.
