YouTube Extends 'Capture' App to iPad to Film and Share Videos

YouTube has upgraded its Capture video filming app, making it available on the iPad and iPad mini. Of course, shooting video with the iPad is not always as practical as using the iPhone, but many folks choose to do it anyway.

What's new

New for iPad and iPad mini. Film a video and instantly make it YouTube-ready with background music, auto color correction, and auto stabilization. You can upload your video to YouTube and share to Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ at the same time.

Is there a way to record only while holding a button, the way Vine does it, except without the 8 second limitation? That'd be pretty useful.

Being that a "motion picture" can use frames captured on any media, from celluloid to digital sensors, then it follows that to film something, actual celluloid film is not necessary.

Just checked it on iPhone 4s and iPad 2. Definitely prefer to use iPhone for making videos, but tool is great fast upload to youtube and fb rocks

It may be due to the fact that not everyone has a frickin' iPhone. </Dr.Evil>

It's a nice app but they should update this soon as you can't put tags, edit videos or even name the category.
