Question about VZW, upgrade transfers, and unlimited data

So the other day I was browsing Verizon's website and I thought of something. 3 of the 4 lines on my plan are eligible for an upgrade, including me. But I am one of the lucky who have unlimited data, along with another one on my line who has and upgrade. So what I want to do is transfer my upgrade to the line with 2gb month and buy a g note ii. The rep told me I wouldn't lose my unlimited data and the other line would stay at 2gb. So after the g note come can I just activate it on the line with 2gb then reactivate the old phone on that line and then activate the g note on my phone. Is this possible? Has anyone done it? is the g note too big for my pockets?
