All iPads: iPad 4 LTE question

Looking to buy a iPad 4 with LTE can are they locked into one carrier like AT&T or can I use it for Verizon or sprint and AT&T when I choose.

The AT&T iPad 4 can only support GSM networks (T-Mobile USA, Canadian carriers, etc....). The Verizon and Sprint iPads are the same, so they are world supported (CDMA).

AT&T iPad 4 can't use Verizon's LTE or Sprint's LTE.
Verzion's or Sprint's iPad can use AT&T's 4G (not LTE).
