Im looking for a solution in having a central music library that all my devices can use.
My music library is managed via iTunes, mainly due to there being two iPods in the household.
Some info:
Computers in home:
Macbook Pro Retina
Win Vista Laptop
Win 7 Tower
Other Devices:
HP Touchpad Tablet (Running Android Cyanogenmod)
Galaxy SIII
Nexus 4
iPod Video
iPod Classic
My NAS is a Raspberry Pi hooked upto an external USB drive.
I was intending to put my iTunes mp3 library and .xml / .itl files on a Samba share and allow all my devices to be able to access my music.
Also thought it would be handy for any of my computers to be able to manage our iPods from the same iTunes library.
It seems iTunes is flexible enough to offer what I want.
If this isnt possible, what are alternative solutions to be able to do what I want?
Is there an iTunes alternative music management software that would allow me to do what I want?
