is there a good 2d animation for mac (Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5)

im just wondering,is there a good animation program for mac?

i would prefer a free program but if not thats ok

Depends what exactly you're looking for. If you just want something to mess around in check out Flip Boom, I think it's like 30 or 40 bucks and capable of simple animation.

Toon Boom is used a lot but its not free. There may be some kind of discount for a student.
