iTunes question

Sorry if this is the wrong section, didn't know where to ask but.. does itunes load slower the more stuff you have on it??

The database files that iTunes uses to store file information do get larger as you add more files, but it's a pretty compact database.

My iTunes library file is around 4.5MB right now, even with over 8000 songs in my collection.

iTunes is generally bloated and slow regardless, at least for me anyway.
