Of replacing your i5 at the Genius Bar and the supposedly lack of "QC".

Just got back from the Apple Store with a white box replacement and this i5 is absolutely flawless. Rock solid buttons, the anodized coating is 100% flawless, and there was absolutely no scratches on the device, and I really inspected it at the Apple Store before I left

Overall extremely pleased, QC defitnetly seems to have improved from a few months ago...maybe i just got lucky but I just think QC has improved substantially,

Actually, I think the people who get flawed ones are the "unlucky" ones.

Probably 95% are perfect out of the box.

I got one on Oct 17 and another on January 5.

Both were top notch out of the box.

I feel like part of it is also that people usually don't post to say they got a perfect one (though it is refreshing to see a post like yours that says exactly that). They only post to say they got a damaged one. From what I've seen, the QC "issues" aren't as bad as they seem just by browsing the forums.
