I'm wondering if anyone knows of a product that can output a single microphone input out to an iPad and an iPhone simultaneously. I'd like to use the iPhone to record straight audio and the iPad to record audio and video.

I have yet to find an iOS app that can extract video audio into an MP3, so recording the audio separately seems to be the only solution without a Mac in the equation.

I have XLR mics and USB mics - anyone have ideas on how this could be done using a single mic rather than trying to use 2 mics?

I am thinking a mixer might work - any ideas on cables needed to output a mixer's audio to an iPad or iPhone?

Yea the big question is what cables would work - most cables would be treated as output instead of input
