Update: Solved by downgrading 3G Unrestrictor then reinstalling upgrade.

I’m having trouble installing 3G Unrestrictor 5 (iOS 5 & 6) v5.2-1 on my iPhone 4S running iOS 6.1.1.

I purchased 3G Unrestrictor a while back, and I was using v5.1-3 with no problem. I saw the update in Cydia, so I tapped to upgrade. It went through the Downloading process, then when it tried to install I got the error:

subprocess dpkg-deb --fsys-tarfile returned error exit status 2
Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

I tried reinstalling multiple times, I tried removing 3G Unrestrictor (which worked, so now I do not have any version of the tweak) then installing it fresh (which did not work.)

I tried quitting Cydia, restarting the phone, even reinstalling Debian Packager and Debian Utilities. Nothing worked. I keep getting the exact same error when I try to install 3G Unrestrictor 5.2-1

I’ve attached a screengrab of the error. Any ideas?

Edit: I reinstalled v5.1-3 from my saved .deb, and then the upgrade to 5.2-1 worked fine. Strange.
