iPad mini How do I use iPad Mini using my verizon cellular data?

Hello guys,

I am new to macrumors forum and I have some questions for my verizion unlimited data.
I currently have samsung galaxy stellar 4G LTE phone and I believe it has micro sim card (not nano sim). I want to buy ipad mini and swap my sim card to use unlimited cellular data, but I heard that ipad mini has nano sim card. Does this mean I can't swap my sim card from my phone to ipad mini? Do I need to buy a iphone 5 to swap between phone to ipad mini?
I want to keep my verizon unlimited data, so I have to buy smart phone with full price. What are my options?
Do I have to buy iphone 5 + ipad mini (cellular version) ?

I guess I can swap my micro sim card, but I have to cut it and buy a nano to micro sim card converter.
