Is there any point in having Apple TV 2 & 3

I think I'm getting a jailbroken AppleTV 2. I currently have the AppleTV 3. Is there any point in keeping my 3 if I get the jailbroken 2? I use a Roku for watching Netflix and Amazon On Demand

If you have 1080p iTunes content or Blu ray rips, you will not get the full benefit on the 2 as it is only 720p. If not, sell it.

The only difference is 720p vs 1080p. If you don't care about the resolution difference for your iTunes content then the ATV3 is unnecessary.
