New unread texts sometimes don't appear in lock screen?
I've noticed sometimes when I unlock my phone there will be a badge for an unread text on the Messages app icon. Now I always have to unlock to double check. A lot of the time they appear in lock screen but frequently I notice they don't. Why is this?

Are these iMessages? And if so, do you have the Messages app open on another device?
