IPad APP

I am looking for a App that can use to access my Imac.

Right now i am using AirParrot and ATV to watch my movies in the living room. My Imac is in the office on the other side of the house. I wanted to know if i could find a App for my Ipad that can access my Imac so i don't have to run in the office to change the movie.

I had all my movies/TV shows in Itunes and was using that but there is no way to organize them and got tired of searching for what i wanted to watch. I plan on buying Time Capsule to store all my movies and tv shows on.

Can anyone help me with this set up or has a better idea. I am over seas and don't have access to american cable so i am trying my best. thanks for the help

mike

You could use TeamViewer to remote control you iMac from iPad ... Free for private use.

And wouldn't the standard remote app from don't help, if you anyway use iTunes ?

I agree with you, I am also using TeamViewer as remote control. I have good experience using this.

If you are looking to setup a media server then the only one to use is Plex.

I use Mocha VNC Lite for simple stuff. Not perfect but the price is right.
