Recalls seem to happen all the time lately. No big deal. At least they find and fix the problem before anyone gets killed. Or did they? I didn't read the whole article.

I think you're just reading into it too much. It appears to just be a thread about the BMW recall, with a jest toward "German Engineering".

Four posts in and nobody's put the "but I expect cars that I pay a premium for to be perfect" spin on yet. I'm impressed.

That only applies to Apple product (particularly iPhone) purchasers.

You're absolutely right. All German engineering is crap.

BMWs are crap. You should never buy one. It's a piece of junk. All other cars are better.

No other country's cars have ever had a recall. Especially American cars have never had a recall.

German cars are crap...oh, I think I mentioned that. Total junk.

It was good you pointed out what junk they are.

Thanks for saving us from that crappy German engineering.

OP is demonstrating that German engineering is garbage, and is saving you from buying German cars because they are all recalled...unlike any other cars.

I hope you are properly grateful for OP taking the time to open this thread and pointing out how bad German engineering is.

Far too rational for this thread.

The idea is to wallow in schadenfreude...

BMW has a recall.

The mighty have fallen.

All those fools who bought BMWs now hang their head in shame.

All those who own other brands of cars (or, at least, OP) can now feel better because BMW had a recall.

Get it, Mate?
