Trackpad, it supports many more gestures.
And it depends on what you'll be using your iMac for.

I have both the trackpad and magic mouse on my desk and rarely use the mouse at all. Gestures are just so useful.

. But whichever size you go with I would definitely recommend the Fusion Drive. I was debating whether to order with the Fusion Drive or not, but I'm so glad that I ordered the Fusion Drive now.Re trackpad or mouse. I have both and the vast amount of the time if I'm just surfing, emailing I use the Magic Trackpad. But when I'm doing video editing or photo editing I prefer the Magic Mouse and also too if I want to drag and drop a lot of files, folders from one place to another, I personally find the Magic Trackpad to not be as good for dragging and dropping as the Magic Mouse. Don't get me wrong, the extra gestures of the Magic Trackpad are superb, but I still do like the Magic Mouse for the reasons I've listed above. Given the mixed opinions of the Magic Mouse, I still think its an excellent mouse.

Trackpad definitely. Once you get used to the gestures you wont want to go back to a mouse, unless its for gaming or precision work.
And Storage really on the amount of media you have... I'd go for 3 TB if you have a lot of music, movies, etc. it's always nice to have extra room IMO. |

Magic TrackPad for Gestures. Not a fan of Apple's Mouse, I love Logitech's Performance MX. BTW, I have both.
![]() As for HDD. Depends how much you have. I have about 1.5TB so I ordered the 3TB Fusion.

then again decent mice are a dime a dozen. Good track pads aren't.
