OWC Envoy
I just wanted to share this for others having problems.
Yesterday I was having problems with my envoy / aurora mounting/ unmounting / ejecting during copying. When I called OWC the tech told me that the stock apple SSD takes a higher voltage than the owc drive so you have to put the new SSD in the computer and the stock SSD in the Envoy. Now I've had no problems

That's weird you had problems. I received mine day before yesterday and installed my Aura first in the envoy, connected it to the Air, then I used Carbon Copy Cloner to clone my OS X installation to the Aura. After that I swapped out the drives and booted from the Aura without problems. One thing I did notice was a slower boot time with the Aura after cloning, but an SMC reset fixed this.

Yea. Is yours a 2012 by chance?
Maybe it has to do with USB 2.0 and the voltage from the stock board. |
