Third-Generation iPod Won't Connect to Mac
Hi! My slim 3rd Gen iPod with a 32 GB CF Transcend card won't boot. At first, it showed up as unrecognized, and was corrupted according to iTunes. After trying to restore it, iTunes said that it could not because the iPod "was busy".
(And yes, I am using the OEM FireWire cable.) After it showed that error code, the iPod won't show up as a disk, even with reconnecting and resetting on multiple machines, both PowerPC and Intel. What can I do? Did I just waste $50? EDIT: The card /is/ working, I was able to use it to boot Debian from an Intel Mac Mini.
