iCloud restoration post initial setup and 6.1.2 update

I needed to bypass iCloud restoration during initial setup of my replacement iPhone5 as a software update was necessary for compatibility. Can you tell me how I may now restore my settings to the last iCloud backup from my previous i5?

Follow prompts and set up as new.
Update software.
Then click erase all content and settings.
Go through set up process again but this time choose to restore from the backup.
