I have some questions that need to be answered.

Hello I was wondering if I should keep my LTE on or off in my iPhone 5.
There is no LTE where I'm from and it shows up as 3G instead of 4G or LTE..

If I turn off LTE and theres no LTE available where I'm from, will my Internet mobile data connection slow down when LTE is off?

Does LTE drain your phone battery?

Yes, OP, turn it off if there's literally no LTE around you.

But turn it on when you travel. If you can find any (or if they set it up where you live) then it is worth having on. But if it doesn't exist there's reason to let your phone continue searching for it.

Only on AT&T.

And only where they have HSDPA+. There are still areas where even an AT&T user will see 3G instead of what they call '4G.'

Carriers are turning on LTE towers more frequently this year, and you should check your carrier's coverage map every so often to make sure you know when your area supports LTE.
