Kinda of hard to answer since i dont own everything, lol.

I use a GS3 and never had a Nexus 4 which im sure i would like but i do have a Nexus 7.

So, i do like the added Touchwiz things on the GS3 though i do not use the Touchwiz launcher. Prefer Nova and Apex.
We also have a iPad Mini and i do like it but i use the Nexus 7 a lot more

So ill answer this way:

Phone= GS3
Tablet= Nexus 7

I think most of the top competitors today do make very good products.

Phone: Note Series. However, this is extremely tentative. I might go to an iPhone 5 for the simplicity of the ecosystem.

Tablet: iPad series. No contest. I do however have a LOT of respect for the Nexus 7 and how it attacked the price market.

No bias as I own numerous iOS and Android devices. With the exception of the N7 and partly due to Jelly Bean, my favorite hands down has to be the iPad.

Just got a Nexus 7. Fun to use, but not as slick as an iPad. Still I voted for the iPhone as I'm using mine everyday without fail & enjoy it thoroughly :)

My favorites are as follows
My Nexus One phone - I loved that and introduced me to Android, rooting and custom roms

My iPad mini - best tablet, great size, lots of apps and books.

Interesting. I think android phones are very good now and I'm sure a lot of people would argue they are better than iPhone. I think in the tablet space, i think android have a bit of catching up to do with ipad but they are catching up fast.

For usability/general day to day stuff/app ecosystem/nicest hardware/os I'd go for iPhone and iPad.

For hacking around, Nexus series.

I own an iPhone and a Nexus 7, but I'd be happy with any combination of iPad(s), iPhone, and/or Nexus 7/4 (and probably 10, haven't tried one).

As a side note I've never actually had a hands-on experience with a Lumia or the new Blackberry, which I would like to try out, but can't imagine they'd sway my opinion.

Right now Galaxy Note 2. Best portable computer that makes phone calls and fits in your pocket.

Note 2 for Super Phone and when it comes out iPad mini Retina.

In a few weeks I'll be getting hTc One and S4. Note 2 is THE best, the 5.5" screen is amazing and perfect. It was hard using anything less like when I bought the BlackBerry Z10.
