Hi
Don't know if anyone can help, but this is causing my MacBook Pro to be virtually unusable at the moment...
All day, every day, I get this:
![]()
I tried this suggestion to what appears to be a common issue:
http://guidovanoorschot.nl/how-to-fix-spotlight-when-it-keeps-indexing-n-mac-os-x-lion/
Have effectively followed this twice now (deleting and rebuilding the index), each time it's taken between 12 and 14 hours to process, but still today, it's just constantly estimating...
I have an encrypted drive using FileVault (due to my company enforcing this rule), and have 58% of my 500GB HDD free - in case these are relevant. I've also tried repairing permissions
I can of course switch it off, but that shouldn't be the solution as I heavily rely on this for searching files on my HDD...
Anyone got any better ideas please?
Thanks
