New High-Resolution Photos of iPhone 5S Parts Reveal Little
![]() BGR shares several new relatively high-resolution photos of parts claimed to be from the iPhone 5S. These parts have been leaking to repair firms over the past several months, and a number of photos have already been seen, but the new photos do represent the highest-quality look at these parts so far. ![]() Vibrator/audio control flex cable for iPhone 5S Unfortunately, the photos reveal little about Apple's plans for the iPhone 5S, as they are minor parts generally seeing relatively small changes compared to their corresponding iPhone 5 parts.Quote:
![]() iPhone 5S nano-SIM trays Most recently, just last week an antenna-related add-on piece for the iPhone 5S logic board surfaced, although the implications of minor changes observed in the part compared to the iPhone 5 remain unknown.Article Link: New High-Resolution Photos of iPhone 5S Parts Reveal Little |

Wouldn't the "S"point to the obvious lack of a design change?

The first picture proves that 5S will use "23J-" model of the vibrator as I concluded in my analysis before.

The "S" has never been confirmed by Apple. It's important to remember that everything, including the name is a rumor. No one's expecting a major design change, but nothing's confirmed at this point.

It is ? wow that's revolutionary
I suspect that this is going to be a 5S, speed-bump core, better anodizing so it doesn't chip as badly as the 5 does on the metal, other than that, no surprises, probably another drop in battery life so now you have to charge the phone all day....(oh wait, it already is that bad) iOS7 however , windows phone 8 clone with its FLAT feel will be surprising lol

Of course nothing is ever confirmed, but don't be so naive. We all know what it is.

People getting your hopes up for a design change, go on the internet and look at Apples last releases of the iPhone.
Set your expectations now so you're not disappointed.

I admit that even the authors of the article state that we again have learned nothing.

The iPhone 4S used a linear-oscillating vibration motor, where the iPhone 5 has a rotational motor with counterweight (pic attached) which is noisier and vibrates more. This is why the iPhone 5 when vibrating seems louder and more harsh. A full comparison here: http://thenextweb.com/apple/2012/09/...e-differently/
As for the upcoming iPhone 5S or 6, the pic in the main article indicates another variant of the motor which has dual counterweights, which means possibly more vibration feedback and louder again. Looks like the linear oscillating motor was dumped again, and they beefed up the vibration motor in the iPhone 5.
