Unused disk space conflicting reports
I'm using istat and OmniDisk sweeper to free up some space on my HD. Istat is telling me I'm using 200GB. When i run omni disk it says i'm using 200GB at the MacHD drive level, but when i go into the folders in the drive it only shows about 100GB used which i think is accruate. Any clue where this extra 100gb might be and isn't showing up?

If you run Mac OS X 10.7 Lion or OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, this might be the issue: What is this "Other" in the storage tab? What is eating up my space? by theSeb
