Hey Folks,
I am really afraid to have a Virus or something comparable, because out of nothing, today a strange symbol came up in my Chromium.
Some minutes before my flash-plugin crashed, but I restarted it.
See in the attachement.

I have a new MBP 2012 with Montain Lion and Chromium.
I saw it several times, when I scrolled on the toptoptop of the FB.

PANIC! the strange puzzle wants to grill me :(((

Good idea. I did it and I reloaded FB and now the icon does not appear anymore, but it's still really suspicious, to have such a strange thing there!!

That's to tell you that the plugin has crashed, a browser restart will fix this issue, always had this with both chrome and chromium. Firefox solved all issues for me hope this helped

I am really afraid to have a Virus or something comparable,
Macs are not immune to malware, but no true viruses exist in the wild that can run on Mac OS X, and there never have been any since it was released over 10 years ago. The only malware in the wild that can affect Mac OS X is a handful of trojans, which can be easily avoided by practicing safe computing (see below). Read the What security steps should I take? section of the Mac Virus/Malware FAQ for tips on practicing safe computing.
