Is it possible to plug in the iphone to the computer, and play the songs that are on the iphone? I do not have the actual files on this computer.

If the answer to that question is no (like, you're at a work computer) then what you really should look for is Airplay compatible speakers:

ehhh, i have some nice USB headsets at work I was hoping to use...I was assuming there was some third party software that could read it somehow.
If that's the way you want to go, the easiest would be to throw your music on an external drive and plug into your computer.
yeah ... just another thing to carry around, was just hoping to use the iphone which has it all already.
