FT:"New" 1.2ghz 14" iBook w/ SUPERDRIVE & 5400rpm 60gig hd for 12" iBOOK

Okay. I have used 12 times 14" 1.2ghz ibook with a brand new totally unused trackpad/top case, brand new 5400 Hitachi 60gig hd, brand new 835UJ Superdrive IN THE BOX with all original, unopened cds, packing materials etc. OH and it has APPLE CARE until 2007. I had the topcase replaced because the trackpad wasn't clicking the same way my 1.33 14" clicks and it bothered me. Apple replaced it for free and I had the Apple tech drop in a brand new hd and superdrive while it was apart. Oh yeah and it also has 1.25 gig of memory.

I bought this pristine and unused machine from a PCer (who couldn't figure out Apple).

I don't need to trade this -- I just wondered if there was anyone out there who wants it and has a 12" ibook in similar condition. Love a 1ghz or 1.2 gig 12" in similar condition -- i might consider an older 12 pb -- to trade. Not desperate, just curious if there's any MR-er who needs it and can trade me for what I want. I guess I'd consider a good cash deal.

They made the 14" iBook in 1.2ghz at one point? I thought it went from 1Ghz to 1.33Ghz. You're probably right though.

Yes they did, from April to October 2004, until they were replaced with the 1.33 GHz model.
