Is there a way to save a network as a default

My macbook air keeps trying to connect to the neighbors belkin instead of my airport extreme

Go into System Preferences>Network>Advanced then delete the offending network from the "Preferred Networks" list.

If you want to keep it on the list, you can just do as it says and reorder the networks so that your preferred one is on top.

Thank you, now it does not ask for my neighbors password when I log on lol.
