Cross-Platform Calendar Sync

I am looking to setup a shared calendar system for my office of 5 people, ideally at no expense and without an exchange server. Three folks are on windows and 2 are on OSX. Any suggestions now that google calendar sync is no longer available outside of the monthly-fee-google-apps-package?

Went with Microsoft's Exchange online for $4 per user per month. It works great, even with iCal & OSX Mail. Interesting to see the new features in iCal that open up, allowing you to respond to calendar invites etc. And it has a pretty robust backend without any need to set up a server.
